Burn (work-in-progress)
digital, experimental essay, (Diretor/Animator/Editor, in production)
Burn is an evocative, experimental essay film that confronts the impact of extreme heat on people with chronic illness and disability. Set in a southern coastal town vulnerable to hurricanes and power outages, the film expands its focus to explore heat-related challenges across the globe. Through animated watercolors, inks, and stop-motion gelatin—materials intentionally affected by heat—Burn weaves self-portraits, news footage, and interviews into a thought provoking narrative about resilience, survival, and the unequal toll of climate change on vulnerable communities.
